Statement

Entering the world of product design, I believe it was only about designing beautiful products. Then I realized that designing a product is not only about sketches and nice models, it’s about understanding the user’s needs and creating a dialog with them.

So I payed more attention to user research and learning to listen to what they want. I’d enter their lives and understand not only what they’re asking for, but what they truly need. The newfound consumer insight drives my concepts and design.

As I matured as a designer, with multiple internships under me, I realized that a missing ingredient in successful design was the design strategy that accompanies the initial product. I love creating the roadmap for the life of my products. Using design strategy, I’m able to guide it into my vision of the world.
