Statement

The face of Industrial design has been dissected, discussed, and defined in a multitude of different ways. At core though, I believe its spirit is inherent in all of humanity as an adaptation mechanism. Take for example the early hominids that decided a rock could also be used as a projectile for hunting or a hammer for building shelter. It is our innate ability create an item and assign it a use whether it is intended for survivalism or for leisure. In design. I find my primal need and responsibility to build the bridge for a more positive connection between product and user.

With whatever problem or need that presents itself to me while designing, it is important to address them with an open yet scrutinizing mind; asking many questions and never ruling out the "what-ifs." I am excited to venture out to help solve problems with other creative and progressive minds of today.
