I am an archivist. Of thoughts, treasures, heirlooms and idiosyncrasies. It is very difficult for me to dissociate my design process from that of collecting. My sketchbooks overflow with doodles and found treasures alike. Coming to terms with this realization has led me into two distinct directions. Part of my work revolves around creating objects that will help frame memories and give them a life of their own. The other half, more recent, has led me to design fiction, the process by which one will collect artifacts and thoughts from their everyday to then ponder upon the possibilities of our future and perhaps design new fictional props to best speculate about it.
