Hello.
My name is Jacqueline Bae.
I was born in Korea and grew up in Indonesia, experiencing the dichotomy of two very different worlds. It was common to see barefoot children playing soccer in a grassy field and on the other side of the fence, a modern school with students in pristine private school uniforms. Seeing this spectrum of such diverse lifestyles and cultures helped influence my approach to design.
While interning for Moreless, I refined details and completed final renderings for Google products, I developed package design for Fitbit and while at SWBK, I created delicate and aesthetically pleasing objects for Maison Objet fair. These internships allowed me to create holistic experience products at a professional level and exercise flexibility within the design process.
My projects span from health and wellness to lifestyle and installation. I believe in clear and concise design solutions that answer both the “why” and the “how”. Now, I would like to share my work with you.
