Statement

Prior to my education at Art Center, I received a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Nanjing Institute of Technology in China. I learned the basic skills, such as sketching, software, and prototyping but lacked an ability to develop my design and the process in-between.

Now, I am able to consider the whole ecosystem in my design process, business, marketing, culture and environment. I have a passion for business management and love designing the business model, plan and crafting the strategy.

Currently I am part of a team that created an online platform called Yineng Radio, which is a place for designers to share their creativity and experience. Creating the business, I was able to collaborate with experts from diverse fields, such as financiers, marketing teams, and web developers. I know how to bring a team together by utilizing everyone's passion and creating a climate that is both clear and supportive.
