Rudy Rummel

Statement

Growing up in San Diego I spent a lot of time with my grandfather, an engineer and artist. If we weren’t building a car or fixing the roof, we were in the den drawing painting and being creative.

As fixing was my strong suit, my first career was in auto mechanics. I spent 20 years in the industry and figured out how to fix everything. I loved what I did but I knew I could do more. I needed to blend my passion for problem solving with my creative drive. I wanted to find a place where I could work with people from different backgrounds and build ideas that could help someone thrive on the other side of the world.

Today as a Product Designer, I want to be the spark that ignites the relationship between business and design and how they integrate. I love collaboration within a diverse team, connecting with people authentically, and seeing how we can work together to make the greatest impact.
