Statement

Hi, I am Astha Vagadia. I am from Mumbai, India and came to Los Angeles to pursue my interest in industrial design. I grew up in a city of crowds and chaos, which forced me to learn to enjoy watching people and their behaviors. Observation and daily interaction with people shaped me as a designer to not only solve problems but also understand the experience of people in those circumstances.

My creative approach, regardless of the medium, is to find what I like to call the “experience gap”. This gap is the vehicle from product to experience and I see how technology can bridge this gap in a fun and interactive way. Through human engagement, building digital experience and working with a team on collaborative strategies, my process allows me to create a truly holistic experience.
