Charlie Neshyba Hodges

Statement

There are a dozen people on this planet, each of whom has known me for at least 21 years. They describe me as Stubborn, Creative, Meticulous, Intrepid, Intelligent, Curious and Kind. These characteristics took me through a 20-year career as a professional dancer where I developed awareness of and empathy for what it means to be alive. This fascination with the stuff that makes us human has taught me to question more, and expect better. As a product designer, I now get to flip that dynamic, applying what I’ve learned about the design of the body in space to the design of the space around the body. Through effort, commitment, collaboration and kindness, I’m humbled to stand at a point of maximum potential to make a positive impact on the lives of the underdogs, while protecting the planet on which future generations depend.
