Statement

Hi, I’m Sara Ferris. From a young age, I found identity in art and making. While receiving my BFA in Fine Art, I became fascinated by the shop tools in the design studio. As a designer, my own interest in tools, technology, and opportunity for creation now drives my desire to make products that enable others to do the same.

I believe that augmented experiences and AI have the ability to help people to do more and be more creative, and this excites me. I know that future technologies depend on empathetic and responsible people to carefully usher in new and potentially disruptive products. I look forward to exploring what’s next in technology, while still preserving what makes us human.
