At the age of 8, my mom taught me how to code, my dad acquired Photoshop for me, and I spent the rest of elementary school designing and building websites for my virtual pets on an online game. I spent a lot of time combing through source code and figuring out how things worked before experimenting on how I would tell the story of my imaginary animals within a webpage limited to a thousand characters.
Today, I still approach the design process in the same way: I make sense of things to communicate efficiently. I love the challenge of strategically working around constraints with special interest in how responsible user research, business strategies, and design interacts. I strive to find what matters most from people’s experiences to tell the most clean and concise stories to design and build upon.
