I was born and raised with thousands of aunties and uncles, my extented ohana in Hawaii. Living on the island of Maui, I was raised knowing and experiencing that we must all have “kuleana” the responsibility to care for others. I always bring this philosophy to my design practice.
Whether I’m developing concepts with NASA scientists and engineers or creating healing spaces for hospitals in Santiago, I’ve seen how design with purpose makes a positive impact across the globe. I bring my skills in design, strategy, research and development to the forefront when exploring solutions for these complex social and environmental challenges.
I am relentlessly driven to improve systems and products that have failed the 21st century. I hope to continue working with diverse teams, triangulating perspectives and bringing design thinking to the global community. We are not just a rock in the middle of the ocean; we are all connected and all responsible for each other and our planet.
