Statement

As a child, I was very aware of the relationship humans have with nature. Raised in Silicon Valley and a cabin in the mountains of Lake Tahoe, my greatest passion was being a part of the alpine ski team. The rigor it took to adapt to extreme weather environments, has translated to my deep love for a challenge in design. Extreme requirements and obstacles encourage me to find creative solutions. My design choices are fueled by my ethical obligation to reduce the carbon footprint and preserve the natural world. As a designer I want to rethink the way we produce and consume information and products by designing innovative material solutions and strategies. Through new technology and sustainable material sourcing, we can implement a new and more honest way of doing business.
