I grew up in a family of policemen and politicians. The family motto is “To succeed is to understand people, influence people, then lead people.” Although I did not follow the family tradition to become either the policeman nor politician, I inherited the essence of that motto in my journey that lead to my study of design.
I understand people through keen observation and empathetic thinking.
I influence others by compassion and sharing.
I lead by example and collaboration.
I believe design is all about connecting the dots between people and what impacts them emotionally.
I have always been
the kid sorting out the chaos in grade school;
the guy initiating when no one speaks up;
the one to provide resolution when the toughest customer called for support;
and the explorer that loves to try everything at least once in life so I won’t have any regrets.
My design reflects my past experience with people, but I am not only in love to design for people, but also with people. I enjoy collaborative triumph over individual achievement. I am a creative catalyst.
