Statement

Coming from a small town in Mississippi, I’ve come to appreciate the simpler things in life… but I always felt like I was missing out on something. This fueled my desire to travel the world. Over the last few years I traveled to Germany, the UK, and across America and have had the great fortune of seeing some of this world we live in through the eyes of a designer. I always find much to be inspired by in the places I have traveled to, but I always find myself more drawn to the simpler things in life: an abundance of nature, fresh foods, and clean air to breathe, which I had plenty of growing up.

These seemingly simple things are becoming more and more scarce in today’s society, especially within poverty stricken areas. After traveling to many diverse areas of the world I find that these basic needs can and should be available to us all. It is my personal and professional goal to chip away at the barriers to these simple things through my work as a designer.
