Statement

I was born in Seoul, raised in Orange County and attended Orange County School of the Arts. During my high school years, I was exposed to a variety of art forms. I was drawn to illustration-- crafting stories, designing my own characters, creating environments and communicating visually. This led me to be interested in real stories, real lives, and tangible objects accomplished through product design. I tell stories through my designs.

I love to bring playfulness to my ideas: creating play sets for children that allows them share their creativity or maybe an interactive system designed for everyday use. I create little playful OH! moments for people.

I am obsessed with post-its! I cover the wall with post-its, doodle my ideas and find connection through flow boards to create order and find opportunity.
