Growing up in Thailand, Pakistan, and Korea allowed me to develop a high tolerance for ambiguity, adapt to unexpected shifts, and empathize with extreme perspectives. I am a big picture thinker, and a strategist who loves to watch people out of their comfort zones. A gasp, followed by a burst of laughter, or maybe even a confused head-tilt. These moments motivate me to confront doubts, challenge the way we think, and feel through design experiments.
In my work, I try to communicate and highlight the potential of the idea vs. the idea itself. I do that by reframing the question and reminding myself why this question came up in the first place. This pushes me to trust my instincts even if it seems off-track, while brainstorming with my teammates, or visualizing what-if scenarios in my sketchbook. I seek to create moments that inspire new stories and live on as treasured memories we hold dearly by connecting unexpected elements in life and design.
