My name is Bryce Johnson and I was born and raised in the beautiful beach town of San Luis Obispo, CA. For years I worked as a freelance graphic designer, but found that I desired a more a hands-on approach, which transitioned me into Product Design. While at Art Center I eventually branched out into the newly-launched Interaction Major, which opened up a whole new world for me: I not only got to create beautiful products, but I got to also design how we interact with these products and the experiences they create.
Pursing a newfound passion for Interaction Design, I did two diverse internships. First with CBS Television as a UI/UX designer, where I worked on the CBS Apple TV and Android TV apps, both of which recently debuted. I also worked with Honda R&D in Los Angeles as a UI/UX designer, creating interfaces for an innovative new concept vehicle for the Acura brand named the Precision Concept, which also recently debuted.
As a designer, I always strive to find quality in the imperfections of process and believe
the products we touch and interact with should not only excite and inspire, but also spark curiosity and invite people to ask questions.
