Textbooks and literature were the magic portals of my childhood. They brought me to understand people and cultures that faded long ago in the past, exist across the world in the present, and belong to a not so distant future. This endless curiosity has lead to a lifelong pursuit of knowledge through unbiased observation and discovery.
In my adulthood, this constant influx of information has become my source for design innovation. My creativity sparks when two separate subjects intertwine and a new story is told; a skateboard at the city park and a DDR machine at the arcade became an interactive trick board for beginner skaters in the suburb. My process translates current and past situations into new ones, restoring and giving new life to everyday characters. I seek opportunities to create new product experiences grounded in familiar human interactions.
