I took a risk, and I don’t regret it.
Taking a risk has been a big part of my life. I changed majors, countries, languages and cultures. Before ArtCenter, I studied Japanese law, which mainly lives in the decisions of the past. Over the years, I got interested in the combination of critical thinking and creative thinking, which aims to move things forward to the future. This is how I discovered design, the sweet spot between analytical thinking and gut feelings.
As a designer, I love discovering new ways of understanding people and creating an experience around it. It is through talking with and listening to the stories of users, that I am able to dive deeper into people's feelings and experiences. Throughout my process, I ask questions like “Why does it matter? How is this meaningful?” in order to create unique and yet very on-target solutions.
After many trials and errors, the moment when a solution works beautifully and inspires people, there I find joy.
I hope we can share the moment together.
