Statement

Where I grew up, everyone was so normal, so if you were a little different, you were a weirdo. I learned to be calm and observant in my disposition and how to adapt to social dynamics without losing myself.
When I moved to Pasadena, I discovered the world of Art Center and JPL, the beautiful world of freaks and geeks. The constant flow of science and technology, along with creativity and design, has allowed me to discover kindred connections with intelligent people from a variety of perspectives and experiences. I understand deeply where people are coming from, their intentions, what drives them and am able to turn these emotions into stories that solve problems. I am Mochi and I celebrate the inner weirdo!
