Haeshin Jo

Hello, I’m Haeshin Jo, a Korean-born designer currently based in California. I was the kid who liked expressing creativity through cutting, making and painting things constantly, so it wasn’t a surprise when I decided to study environmental design in Korea, where I got my first Bachelor of Science degree. I moved to the States to pursue a career in design.

In my design process, I’m intrigued by human behavior and how people interact with objects and their environment. Simple objects should appeal to our sensibility and highlight the functionality. Through form language, material choice and color, I hope to create products that are useful to people while still being aesthetically desirable.
