Statement

I see problems in the world around me, under-represented, uncommon, or ignored. I see these problems and I want to reach in and play with it, stretch it, bend it and poke it. I’ve always been a bit of an oddball. I’m someone who appreciates how culture, experiences and language shape who we are and how we navigate the world around us. As a designer, embracing and understanding diverse personalities allows me to identify challenges and create solutions in often unexpected ways. I love the tactile, the tangible, the puzzle of a pattern, the texture of a fabric, the physical interaction. Through my designs, I want to bring a sense of play and silliness- a little bit of sunshine to the world.
