Statement

I grew up experiencing two different cultures, with one foot in the Philippines and the other in Los Angeles. I was a kid that loved to take things apart to see how the inside and outside worked together. If I couldn’t find a screwdriver, I would use scissors -- my curiosity made me peel back every layer. I needed to understand.

I observe and find problems, compelled to make them better. I want to find the balance between solving within tough constraints and absolute creative freedom, exploring all possibilities until finding the best solution. Landing on the right solution always takes a team – a collaboration that requires trust and persistence. Whether I’m at SpaceX sharing ideas with astronauts or in a consultancy balancing three different deliverables in a day, I love turning ideas into reality.
