Statement

What’s up! I’m Jovan Lu.

I grew up in Guangzhou, China, and at the age of 16, became a high school exchange student in the American Midwest. As a design student, I have interned around different parts of the world to expand my horizons. Sports and crafts have always been a significant component of my life growing up, and through them I learned to be passionate, patient, respectful, and how to trust my teammates in the process.

As a designer, I love to explore the cross-sections where fashion, sports, innovation, and art blend as well as evolve. I am open and empathic to diverse cultures and strive to discover what can often be overlooked. I am committed to pushing boundaries and creating avenues that allow people to express their higher selves and reach their full potential.
