Statement

Hey, my name is MJ Mayo. Raised in Vancouver, Canada, I excelled in competitive hockey and outdoor sports. These fostered a strong education in leadership and sustainable practices for our environment. As a designer, I want to utilize emerging technology and recycled resources to alter the perception of a sustainable lifestyle. Designing future products and systems using closed loop, regenerative thinking is paramount today and will enable us to create low-impact solutions that will allow us to thrive on this planet or the next. As a co-founder of the design agency PROTOTYP3, I want to partner with brands and corporations to envision opportunities for a zero waste economy, one that enhances human potential while still being profitable to people and the planet.
