Statement

Hey, my name is Skyler Coppenrath. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest always outdoors and spending time with my dad on construction sites. I discovered that my ability to build and create fueled my imagination and translated it into art and design. When I started in the prosthetic design program at the University of Oregon, I saw first-hand how my ideas could come to life and directly impact the people they served. Now as a designer, I’m passionate about innovation in health care and promoting a healthier lifestyle. I immerse myself in the life of the person I’m designing for, understanding their needs and their limitations in order to create solutions that will allow them to experience life to the fullest. Living life to the fullest is a right, not a luxury.
