Statement

Hi, I am Toby Yu. Since I was a child, I have been an avid reader and was always looking to the future, speculating on what was possible. When I applied this to my own life, I wanted to be someone who could approach critical thinking in a creative way. From imaginative concepts to stock market analysis, I realized that design lives in both worlds. I am always thinking, thinking and thinking some more. Deep research, trend studies, market demands and really integrating myself into the needs and life of the user, I can imagine future opportunities. This creates the framework that allows me to design a system that connects products to their digital presence, and most importantly, to the community they serve. As a designer, I want to design opportunities for people to be engaged, to feel empowered and connect with the world around them.
